Hello Friends!

I was struggling this morning to find a topic for today’s post. You might even say I had a case of Blogger’s Block. So I searched through my resources and came across a cool post. It has nothing to do with writing but speaks of ancient history – for which I am a fan of though my educated on the subject is meager.

Did you know the Colossus of Rhodes was built as a symbol of freedom much like the Statue of Liberty though it only remained standing for a period of 56 years when a powerful earthquake destroyed the 98 foot tall statue.

How about those Hanging Gardens of Babylon which more than likely did not hang but overhung vaulted terraces raised one above the other.

So, let me put forth these questions and let’s see if you can answer them. I have already give some clues 🙂

What are/were the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World?

Which out of the Seven Wonders are still in existence today?

If you would like to know the answers to my questions go to

Until Thursday, WRITE ON!
