#12 Writing Exercise
Today marks the last day of A-12 Day Plan of Simple Writing Exercises by Brian A Klems as published on WritersDigest.com. Congratulations, if you’ve made it up to this point! Give yourself a pat on the back.
I must tell you that I, myself wasn’t able to complete all the exercises but I will definitely be revisiting the ones I have missed.
Writing exercises like these are a great way to improve skills and can be a good source of inspiration. Thanks to a SPAMMER – yes, spammer – I’ve come across a highly rated book filled with writing exercises. The 3A.M. Epiphany is available on Amazon. (Cut and paste the link below to your browser)
The 3 A.M. Epiphany offers more than 200 intriguing writing exercises designed to help you think, write, and revise like never before – without having to wait for creative inspiration. Brian Kiteley, noted author and director of the University of Denver’s creative writing program, has crafted and refined these exercises through 15 years of teaching experience.
Are you ready for the twelfth and last exercise?
12. Gather everything you’ve written over the previous 11 days. Pick your favorite. Edit it, polish it and either try to get it published or post it on the Web to share with the world. Be proud of yourself and your work.
Thanks Brian and Writer’s Digest.
Until tomorrow, Write On!
