My Corny Christmas Excuse
I wear a cap red and fuzzy, slippers on my toes. A snowman holds my coffee which I sip until it’s cold. My desk piles high with cards, most from people I barely know, which I sweep to the side while I wait for the words to flow. I’m a writer and it’s Christmas and though I know I shouldn’t be slow, I am throughly distracted by the Holiday lights glow. All the planning and the prepping , all the parties I must attend means my novel will have to wait until this year comes to an end.
It’s been a busy week, friends 😉
Until next time.
